This Privacy Policy explains how Cloudo ("Cloudo," the "App," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Cloudo Weather, handles information when you use the Cloudo weather application. It covers the App’s weather, location, notification, subscription, widget, and weather-intelligence functionality.
Cloudo may process limited information necessary to determine a weather location, retrieve forecasts, generate intelligence, display weather, send notifications, maintain subscription access, operate widgets, diagnose technical problems, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and maintain security. The exact information depends on features you use, permissions you grant, and services enabled in your version of Cloudo.
If you grant location permission, Cloudo may process approximate or precise location, latitude and longitude, location-derived city or region, and time zone to retrieve conditions and generate location-specific weather intelligence. Depending on the feature, this may be processed temporarily on-device or transmitted to a weather, geocoding, or infrastructure provider to fulfill a weather request. Cloudo does not require continuous location access unless a feature requires it and you explicitly grant the applicable permission. You can revoke permission at any time and manually select a location where supported.
Saved locations may include city name, geographic coordinates, region, country, time zone, and a user-selected display name. They may be stored locally or using Apple-provided storage or synchronization services, depending on the App architecture and enabled features.
A weather provider may process requested coordinates, weather variables, request time, IP address, and ordinary device or network information transmitted with an internet request. Providers process such information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Cloudo obtains forecast information from Apple Weather through WeatherKit and may transform that data to create intelligence and recommendations. WeatherKit requests are processed by Apple under its applicable terms and privacy policies. Apple may receive the requested coordinates, IP address, request time, and standard technical request metadata. Required Apple Weather attribution is provided where applicable.
Cloudo may evaluate temperature, feels-like temperature, rain, snow, wind, UV, forecast changes, time of day, current and future conditions, and selected location to produce clothing, umbrella, sunscreen, jacket, weather-change, daily-highlight, and prioritized-insight suggestions. Unless stated otherwise, these recommendations do not require a behavioral advertising profile.
If you enable notifications, Cloudo may process notification permission state, preferences, the associated location, forecast conditions, insight category, delivery eligibility, and a push-notification token where remote notifications are used. Notifications can include rain, snow, severe weather, temperature, UV, wind, forecast-change, daily-summary, and clothing recommendations. Apple Push Notification service may process the push token and delivery information. You can disable notifications in device settings.
Where permitted by the operating system, background processing may refresh forecasts, re-evaluate intelligence, update cached weather, update widgets, and prepare eligible notifications. Widgets and Live Activities may make limited weather information available to Apple operating-system frameworks for Home Screen, Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, StandBy, and widget surfaces. Shared information may be stored temporarily on-device.
Apple processes App Store financial transactions; Cloudo does not receive your complete card number. We may process limited purchase information, including product, tier, subscription status, purchase and expiration dates, renewal status, trial status, transaction identifiers, storefront or country, and premium entitlement. This is used to unlock, verify, restore, and manage subscription access.
Cloudo may use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements and App Store purchase status. RevenueCat may process an app user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, subscription and entitlement status, store information, and technical information necessary to operate its service under its own privacy policy and contractual terms. RevenueCat does not receive your complete payment-card information from Cloudo.
For operation, security, debugging, and reliability, Cloudo or providers may process device model, operating-system and App version, language, region, time zone, crash and diagnostic information, performance information, error logs, network-related information, and anonymous or pseudonymous technical identifiers.
